The venue is situated in Star\u00e1 Lesn\u00e1<\/strong>, a small village in the beautiful High Tatra Mountains, that lives mainly from tourism. Although it is only a small village, it is easy to get there due to its location within the important tourist center of Slovakia. The best way to get there is to travel from Poprad<\/a><\/strong>. Poprad<\/a> has great train and bus connections to major cities in Central Europe, as it lies on the main Slovak railway and highway (100 km from Ko\u0161ice and 330 km from Bratislava). If you need to transfer at the bus station in Bratislava, note that lies 2.5 km from the train station.\u00a0 To cross the distance, take lines from the “Autobusov\u00e1 stanica<\/em>” bus stop D, either the trolley bus 40<\/a> (get off at the final stop) or the bus 21<\/a> (get off at “Pod stanicou<\/em>“, which is just 2 minutes walk from the train station).<\/span><\/p>\n Vienna Int. Airport –<\/strong> Three bus companies drive from Vienna airport<\/em> to Bratislava<\/em>. Their timetables and ticket information are <\/span>here<\/a>, but to see them all combined use cp.sk<\/a><\/span>. The general way to reach the train is to take the bus from Vienna airport<\/em> to Bratislava<\/em> bus<\/strong> station<\/em> and use the line 40 or 21. If you are lucky, some connections drive directly from Vienna airport<\/em> to Bratislava main train<\/strong> station<\/em> (“hlavn\u00e1 \u017eelezni\u010dn\u00e1 stanica” \/ “hl. \u017eel. st.”).<\/span><\/p>\n Directly from:<\/strong><\/p>\n Krak\u00f3w – <\/strong>to reach the main bus and train station from the Krak\u00f3w airport, take train<\/a> or buses (300<\/a> or 209<\/a> to “Rondo Grundwaldzkie”<\/em>, then 179<\/a> to “Dworzec G\u0142\u00f3wny Zach\u00f3d”)<\/span><\/em><\/span>. Once there, take a bus directly to Star\u00fd Smokovec<\/em><\/a> or to Ru\u017eomberok<\/em><\/a> and continue by train.<\/span><\/p>\n Budapest – <\/strong>there are buses<\/a> di<\/span>rectly to Star\u00fd Smokovec<\/em>. Other options are buses from N\u00e9pliget<\/em> and Mexik\u00f3i<\/em> or trains from Keleti station<\/em>.\u00a0For better understanding of transport within Budapest<\/em> we recommend <\/span>this site<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>or <\/span>rome2rio<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n Prague – <\/strong>the <\/span>Airport Express<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>drives to main train station every 30 minutes. Another option are city <\/span>buses combined with subway<\/a>:\u00a0<\/span>bus 119 to Veleslav\u00edn station<\/em> where you can change to Metro A line to Muzeum<\/em>. From there you can continue to Poprad<\/em> directly or with change in \u017dilina<\/em>.\u00a0<\/span>In case you prefer buses to trains despite their generally longer travel time on route Prague – Poprad<\/em>, most of them depart from Florenc bus station<\/em>.
